USS Jurassic and Grant ARC VE Sessions

The USS JURASSIC in conjunction with the Grant Amateur Radio Club (Brown County, OH) has a Field Stocked VE team accredited by the ARRL. We have 4 VE's (Volunteer Examiners) on board the USS JURASSIC. They are Gary K8BE, Jerry KB8PVY, Al W8UJM, and Carolyn N8ST. Many of these are also members of the the Grant Amateur Radio Club.

If you would like to schedule a test session in Brown County, Ohio, please contact Carolyn N8ST at n8st@n8st.net

Everyone taking a test must show a driver's license or some form of photo ID. If you don't have a driver's license or photo ID, we will need to see two forms of ID. Everyone taking a test to upgrade an existing license will need to bring a COPY of your existing license.

The cost of taking a test is $15 per session as long as you keep passing the tests. If you fail a test and want to take it over, you will need to pay another $15, and will receive a test with a different set of questions from the question pool.

Study materials for all license classes and the question pools for all license classes can be found on the ARRL website, as well as other places on the web. Check out our LINKS page for more websites that have software and helps.
