Fictional Profiles - Garry Cameron

Rank: Commander (has passed both OTS and OCC)

RACE: Human (Genetically Altered, see below)

Planet Of Birth: Unknown (see below)

Gender: Male

AGE: Approximately 28 Earth Years

Height: 1.9 Metres (6' 2")

Weight: 120 Kg (264 lb)

Eyes: Brown

Hair: Red

Distinguishing Features: None (very average looking)

Special Skills: Psionic Danger Sense (Powerful tingling sensation warns of danger nearby). Ability to telepathically "meld" with Companions Zoey McGregor, Linn Loris, and Princess Midis Fairwyn. Developing Telepathic Ability to communicate with Cats.

Trained Skills: Electronics Expert, (top of class in Electronics related to communications). Top Marksman with Phaser. Qualified Shuttle Pilot.

Hobbies: Fencing, Archery, Collects Antique Communication devices.

Notes: Approximately twenty-eight years ago the Federation Star ship Nebula encountered a severely damaged shuttle, design type unknown, just inside the Federation's Borders. There were three passengers aboard, a man and a woman, both dead, and a male child approximately 1 earth year old. The Shuttle was armed with Disrupter type energy weapons, and had sustained damage from energy weapons of similar type. The Shuttle was taken aboard ship for transport to a Star Base for detailed examination.

Scans of the man, woman, and child revealed that they were most likely descendants of Earth Humans who had been genetically altered. Muscle tissue was approximately twenty-five percent more efficient. There were minor variations to respiratory and circulatory systems, and some skeletal reinforcement. Metabolism would run about twenty percent faster. Thanks to needing less muscle mass for a given strength, such people could live on a high-gravity planet without becoming "bulgy-muscled blimps".

The child was adopted by a pair of Starfleet Officers who were on their last tour of duty before retirement, and thus grew up on earth. In his childhood years his enhanced strength was somewhat of a problem, resulting in numerous broken and bent items, until he learned to control it. It also marked him as "different" from other children, and on a couple of occasions other children ganged up on him with the intention of beating him up, but neighbor Carolyn Donner (now VADM Donner) broke up the incidents before they got out of hand. Along with his parents, VADM Donner served as a mentor for the young boy during his formative years.

At a very early age his parents obtained for him an artificial gravity generator, similar to, but smaller than the type used in star ships, which is capable of adjusting gravity in an area of approximately 2 square metres. Circumstances permitting, he uses it to perform a daily 20 minute workout in gravity approximately 1.25 earth normal.

Because of his enhanced strength Sparks is able to use the Vulcan Nerve Pinch effectively, something few "normal" humans can do due to lack of sufficient strength in their fingers.

His enhancement exacts a price however--his rapid metabolism requires considerable amounts of food, and his well-being slumps rapidly without it. (See below). Also, his ability to regenerate after injury is very nearly zero. It is quite possible that, should he lose a limb he may have to settle for an artificial replacement.

Sparks shares his quarters aboard ship with three female companions: Zoey McGregor (Human), Linn Loris (Bajoran) and Midis Fairwyn (Vroon) plus 4 cats.

Medical Notes: Provided he receives the proper amount of food as noted above, his health remains perfect, essentially that of a seventeen year old, although his actual chronological age is twenty-eight. If, however, he misses even a single meal, the effect on his well-being is rapid. Failure to eat when he is hungry first results in a throbbing headache, followed by the rapid onset of fatigue. Continued lack of food will cause his mental health to deteriorate rapidly as well so that by the tenth day, he will be helpless and near death.

He is linked to his three female companions by an unbreakable Telepathic Bond. Through the Bond any of the four will be aware that the others are alive and well, even if separated by considerable distance. The down side to this is that the death of serious injury of any one of them could result in a "psychic backlash" which could have dire consequences for the others, possibly resulting unconsciousness or death. It should be noted however, that they have developed a "shield" that will partially but only partially--block the backlash.

Unusual Physical Characteristics

While he has a generous crop of red hair upon his head, hair grows nowhere else upon his person--he never has to shave, and could not grow a beard if he wanted to--has no hair anywhere else upon his person--a characteristic shared with his three female Companions, despite their hailing from four widely separated planets.

As is to be expected with someone with the physical body of a teenager in perfect health, his sexual libido is very powerful.

Companions

Zoey McGregor (Fictional Companion of Garry Cameron)

RANK: Civilian "Diplomat At Large"

RACE: Caucasian Human (Genetically Altered, see below)

Planet Of Birth: Earth

Gender: Female

AGE: Approximately 28 Earth Years

Height: 1.51 Metres (4' 11")

Weight: 45 Kg (99 lb)

Eyes: Green

Hair: Platinum Blonde

Distinguishing Features: A classic Caucasian Beauty. Dazzling smile. Cute & Cuddly.

Special Skills: Psionic Danger Sense (Powerful tingling sensation warns of danger nearby). Psionic Minor Downthrough (see below). Developing the ability to telepathically communicate with Cats. Also developing additional Psionic Powers, primarily Remote Viewing at present.

Trained Skills: Stellar Cartography, Diplomacy, Acrobatics, Martial Arts. Small craft pilot. Expert shot with Phaser.

Hobbies: Painting, Counted cross-stitch

Notes: Zoey is the daughter of Fleet Admiral Jock McGregor and Melanie Martin McGregor, famous Federation Diplomat. She was born on the Scottish Moors, but has lived in many parts of Earth during her life. Her boundless energy and enthusiasm are infectious. As one interviewee put it, "She radiates 'feel good' like a star radiates light. You can be in the blackest mood--feel like you want to smash something. Spend a few minutes near her, and suddenly you realise you don't feel bad any more".

Zoey is a Psionic Minor Downthrough, meaning she has the ability to see a short distance into the future at times. These "visions" most often show her events in her own life or of those around her. She may see someone dripping wet a few moments before that person falls into water, for example. A few minutes to a few hours is usually her limit. Very rarely does it reach farther ahead, although she once saw the President of Earth being inaugurated ten years before it happened.

The Federation Diplomatic Corps has issued Zoey with credentials, making her a "Diplomat At Large" i.e. wherever she goes, if a Diplomat is needed, she can step in.

Medical Notes

At some point in the past Zoey's ancestors were genetically altered, with the changes made dominant so that they were passed on through the generations. While most enhancements were geared toward increasing mental abilities, there were some minor physical changes as well--Muscle tissue approximately three percent more efficient, and minor variations to respiratory and circulatory systems, plus some skeletal reinforcement. Her metabolism is faster than "standard" humans, and she requires more food than someone her size normally would. Like Sparks (q.v.) lack of food will cause her headaches and fatigue. Continued lack of food will have the same results as for him.

She is linked to Sparks and the other two female companions by an unbreakable Telepathic Bond. Through the Bond any of the four will be aware that the others are alive and well, even if separated by considerable

distance. The down side to this is that the death or serious injury of any one of them could result in a "psychic backlash" which could have dire consequences for the others, possibly resulting in unconsciousness or death. It should be noted however, that they have developed a "shield" that will partially but only partially--block the backlash.

Unusual Physical Characteristics

While endowed with an exceptionally beautiful head of platinum blonde hair, she has NO hair anywhere else upon her body, a characteristic shared with the other three Companions, despite their hailing from four widely scattered planets.

As is to be expected with someone with the physical body of a teenager in perfect health, her sexual libido is very powerful.

Linn Loris (Fictional Companion of Garry Cameron)

RANK: Civilian Employee of Starfleet

RACE: Bajoran

Planet Of Birth: Bajor

Gender: Female

AGE: Approximately 30 Earth Years

Height: 1.69 Metres (5' 6")

Weight: 62.2 Kg (137 lb)

Eyes: Hazel

Hair: Light Brown

Distinguishing Features: Typical Bajoran nose ridge. She's a striking woman with a powerful "presence". Does resemble Colonel Kira Nerys somewhatbut is taller and has longer hair.

Special Skills: Psionic Danger Sense (Powerful tingling sensation warns of danger nearby). Ability to Telepathically "meld" with Zoey McGregor, Princess Midis Fairwyn, and Sparks. Developing ability to telepathically communicate with Cats. Developing other Psionic Powers--primarily Remote Viewing at present.

Trained Skills: Expert at almost every major form of hand-to-hand fighting, as well as the majority of energy weapons. Skilled small craft pilot, good knowledge of space navigation.

Hobbies: Writing. (Author, under a pseudonym, of the immensely popular Holonovel Under The Cardassian Heel) Model Building.

Notes: Loris was born on Bajor, but shipped off to a Cardassian Slave Camp with her parents when she was just a few months old. As soon as she was old enough she was put to work, and laboured many years at menial tasks. When she was fifteen her fellow slaves revolted, killing their Cardassian masters and escaping the Camp before reinforcements could arrive. Loris joined them and became a Resistance Fighter. The Cardassians were never able to recapture all the slaves on that particular planet, and eventually withdrew.

The Resistance Fighters were in time able to move to other planets to continue the fight, which they did until the Cardassians were finally driven off. It has been said by some that during her years as a resistance fighter she killed several Cardassians with her bare hands, but it has not been possible to confirm this as her fellow fighters aren't talking, and if any Cardassians were witnesses they did not survive to tell the tale.

With Bajor free, she was able to return to the planet of her birth. There, she was examined by doctors who told her that she was a Mutant, with slight variations of brain structure, as well as minor variations in muscle tissue, respiratory and circulatory systems, etc.

She soon found she was "persona non grata" on Bajor, as she is one of those very rare Bajorans who view the Prophets, not as Gods but as merely Wormhole Aliens as other races do.

She once had a brief fling with a Klignon Warrior, during which time she fought several battles alongside him and his crew. Her courage and resourcefulness greatly impressed the Klignons, and they eventually parted on good terms.

For a time she served as a crew member of the Freighter GRAKTOR, eventually working her way up to Third Mate. Unfortunately for her, some of the other crew got involved with the smuggling of illegal weapons. Loris co-operated with Starfleet Intelligence in their efforts to shut down the smuggling operation, very nearly losing her life, but being saved when "Sparks" Cameron "accidentally" stumbled into the 'action". Loris subsequently joined Sparks and Zoey McGregor, becoming a member of the group now known as The Companions.

As with her fellow companions her metabolism is rapid, meaning she requires more food than a "normal" humanoid her size, and with predictable results if the proper amount of food is lacking.

She is linked to Sparks and the other two female companions by an unbreakable Telepathic Bond. Through the Bond any of the four will be aware that the others are alive and well, even if separated by considerable distance. The down side to this is that the death or serious injury of any one of them could result in a "psychic backlash" which could have dire consequences for the others, possibly resulting in unconsciousness or death. It should be noted however, that they have developed a "shield" that will partially (but only partially)--block the backlash.

Unusual Physical Characteristics

She has a generous head of beautiful light brown hair, but NO hair anywhere else--something she shares with her three Companions despite their hailing from four widely scattered planets.

As is to be expected with someone with the physical body of a teenager in perfect health, her sexual libido is very powerful.

Midis (Fictional Companion of Garry Cameron)

Name: Midis (Pronounced MID-ISS...Mid rhymes with Lid)

Rank: Civilian Employee of Starfleet

RACE: Vroon

Planet Of Birth: Vroon

Gender: Female

AGE: Approximately 30 Earth Years

Height: 1.85 Metres (6' 0")

Weight: 72.2 Kg (159 lb)

Eyes: Golden-yellow

Hair: Emerald Green

Distinguishing Features: Pale green skin, Emerald Green hair, Golden-yellow eyes, Horns.

Special Skills: Psionic Danger Sense (Powerful tingling sensation warns of danger nearby). Animal Telepathy, which she is teaching to the other companions. Developing other Psionic Skills, primarily remote Viewing at present.

Trained Skills: Expert in a variety of hand-to-hand fighting techniques. Also well versed in major energy weapon use. Expert swordsman. In the process of learning to pilot small craft.

Hobbies: Model Building, painting, writing (currently working on her first Holonovel)

The Vroon are a tall, smooth-skinned, handsome people, the men being slightly shorter and with darker skin than the women. The men also lack the distinctive horns of the women. The horns appear to be of ivory and are about 4 cm (1.5 inches) long, curving slightly forward, and have tiny rounded knobs at the end. They extend from the upper part of the forehead directly above the eyes.

The men are generally bald, while the women are blessed with a luxurious growth of hair very similar to that of earth women, but in varying shades of green. Those privileged to feel it have described it as "cat-fur soft".

Midis is a Princess, younger daughter of the King of Vroon and sister to Crown Princess Tarnia. Midis was secretly trained in several forms of hand to hand combat and weapon use, a shocking departure from "proper" behaviour for a Vroon woman. She further antagonised the Male establishment by refusing to be pliant and obedient.

Having refused a marriage arranged for political expediency, thereby causing a political crisis of dire proportions this "Rebel" fled Vroon with a couple of loyal servants. After her servants were killed in an attack by brigands she joined Sparks and his Companions.

Shortly after Midis had joined the Companions, the political situation on Vroon changed, and sweeping reforms were imposed. Midis has no interest in returning home however, having adapted well to her non-royal status, and found contentment with the Companions.

Medical Notes

Green skin, green hair, golden-yellow eyes, and green blood not withstanding, Midis is internally identical to any human woman, having all the same organs, in all the right places, and functioning in the same way, although more efficiently. Much of her DNA is recognisably human.

It should be noted however, that they have developed a "shield" that will partially but only partially--block the backlash.

Her beautiful emerald green hair is nearly waist length, but she has NO hair anywhere else upon her body, a characteristic shared with the other Companions despite their hailing from four widely scattered planets.

As is to be expected with someone with the physical body of a teenager in perfect health, her sexual libido is very powerful.
